Employment

To ensure equal employment opportunities and accessible work environments, FaxSIPit welcomes applications from individuals with disabilities and accommodates requests throughout the hiring process. Once hired, employees may reach out to our executive team who handle accommodation requests.

Through our ongoing listening efforts, we have identified areas for improvement and committed to the following actions:

Commitment 1: Formalize the process for accommodations and work to develop an employment accessibility policy to implement best practices.

Commitment 2: Clearly inform newly hired employees during onboarding about the option and process to request accommodations at any time during their employment.

FaxSIPit operates one physical office in Vancouver, Canada. This leased office is equipped with accessible features such as step-free access and high-contrast signage. Furthermore, FaxSIPit has adopted a hybrid and remote work policy.

Under this policy employees work primarily or entirely from their home. In support of this policy and culture shift, FaxSIPit may provide stipends for employee home office materials.

Our commitments to accessibility in leased office spaces and home offices include:

Commitment 1: Ensure all leased spaces meet legal accessibility requirements.

Commitment 2: Include allowances for home office facilities as part of the employment accessibility policy.

Commitment 1: Provide new videos and training material for new products and releases.

Commitment 1: Include guidance to employees about communication with and about people with disabilities.

In procuring office facilities and relevant employee software tools, FaxSIPit considers accessibility needs and requirements. In addition to commitments detailed elsewhere in this plan, we commit to the following action:

Commitment 1: Evaluate how to further integrate accessibility considerations into vendor selection and review processes for the purchase of relevant products and services.

Design and Delivery of Programs and Services

FaxSIPit provides software and digital services on desktop, and web platforms. To increase the accessibility of the design of our products we plan to continuously assess and improve the user experience. Our products work within existing applications such as browsers, email and desktop clients like Zoom.

These tools run on various computing platforms and devices. To the degree that these products provide accessibility features our fax services do as well. Additionally most operating systems have various features designed for disabled users. Also traditional fax machines have been adapted over many years for accessibility and our ATA product has zero impact on the accessibility features of these machines.

To improve FaxSIPit products™ accessibility profile we commit the following action:

Commitment 1: Evaluate how to further integrate accessibility considerations into the product design and development process.

Transportation

FaxSIPit does not provide transportation services to the public or its employees.
